Cloud, security
and operations
We've been running bank portals for over a decade. Your platforms get the same monitoring, the same updates and the same backups.
We design and run your AWS cloud, monitor your platforms, apply security updates, manage backups and licenses, and tell you when something happens. It's a monthly managed service with service agreements and one accountable team.
The Core
Problem
Servers nobody updates
The portal launched years ago, the vendor who built it stopped answering, and nobody knows when the last patch went in. Meanwhile, the cloud bill keeps growing and nobody checks which resources are actually in use.
Due diligence comes before the vendor
Your risk team wants evidence of backups, access control, continuity and incident notice before it approves a vendor. Many small vendors have no way to show it, and the project stalls at that review.
How we solve it
AWS cloud
We design, deploy and run your AWS environments, and review costs every month so your institution doesn't pay for resources nobody uses.
Monitoring and incident notice
We watch the availability and performance of your platforms. Our incident-notice process is designed to meet what your contract and your regulator require.
Security updates
Operating system, dependency and CMS patches in maintenance windows agreed with your team, plus static code analysis with SonarQube before every deployment.
Backups and recovery
Automatic backups stored off the main server, and restore tests. You know where your data is and how long it would take to get it back.
Platform and license administration
Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, hosting, domains and the licenses your operation uses, managed by the same team that runs your servers and always in your institution's name.
Real-World
Applications
Banking portal operations
Hosting, monitoring, updates and content operations for the public portals of banks and insurers. It's the work we've done for over a decade.
Infrastructure and security review
We review your cloud account, access, backups, software versions and what's exposed to the internet. You get a report with risks in priority order and the effort each fix takes.
Managed IT for small businesses
For small businesses in Honduras without an IT department, Andes Shield bundles email and collaboration, device protection, office network and support in one monthly contract. Write to us and we will walk you through what it includes.
Why we are different
We run our own products
linkable.id and Andes Consent are in production with clients. The updates, monitoring and support we offer you are the same ones we apply to our own platforms.
We know vendor reviews
We know what a risk team asks for and what regulators such as Honduras' National Banking and Insurance Commission (CNBS) look at when a bank outsources. We prepare documentation of our controls for that review.
One accountable team
The same team builds, runs and answers. When something breaks, nobody tells you it's someone else's server.
Frequently asked questions
Availability and performance monitoring, security updates, backups with restore tests, cloud and license administration, and a monthly report. The exact scope and response times go into the service agreement Andes Development signs with your institution.
They're set in each contract, which is why we don't promise them on this page. Our incident-notice process is designed to meet what your regulator requires, and before you sign we show you in writing what's included so your legal and risk teams can review it.
Yes. We start with an infrastructure and security review covering access, backups, versions, internet exposure and costs. With that report we agree on what gets fixed first and when we take over operations.
Yes. AWS accounts, domains and licenses stay in your institution's name, and we operate with access your team can review and revoke. If you switch vendors, you don't need our permission to take anything with you.
AWS is the cloud we run most often, and we also manage hosting for smaller sites and portals. If your institution uses another cloud or its own infrastructure, we review it in the initial assessment before proposing anything.
Do you know when your portal was last patched?
In an infrastructure and security review we show you what's exposed, what isn't backed up and what to fix first.
