Brand Vault and
Brand Kits

Change the logo in the Brand Vault, and it changes on every page that uses it.

Store logos, icons, fonts, colors, copy, design tokens and code snippets once. Every widget, page and theme that uses them updates when they change, anything in use can't be deleted, and Brand Kits publish your brand guidelines without copying anything by hand.

The problem

The old logo that keeps coming back

Brand assets live in shared drives, email threads and someone's desktop. The agency uses one version, the branch uses another, and when the brand changes someone has to fix it by hand across dozens of pieces. The PDF brand guide is out of date the same month it goes out.

How it solves it

One source for your brand, with rules

Live references

Widgets, pages and themes point to the asset, not to a copy. Change the logo, a color or a block of copy once, and it updates everywhere it is used.

In-use assets stay put

An asset or folder that is in use can't be deleted: a single delete is blocked, and a bulk delete skips it and tells you how many were skipped. Anything that is deleted goes to the trash first.

12 asset types

Images, SVG icons that are sanitized on upload, fonts (including variable fonts), audio, files, colors, links, emails, phone numbers, Markdown text, design tokens and code snippets. Files upload in bulk and their type is detected for you.

Folders ready to use

A folder downloads as a bundle: files as they are, colors as an .ase palette, tokens as tokens.css, code snippets as source files, and a manifest listing every value.

Brand Kits that maintain themselves

A 3-step wizard builds a public or private page with your logo, colors, typography, imagery and guidelines, all pulled from the Brand Vault. When an asset changes, the kit changes too. Font downloads are off by default, for licensing reasons.

Read-only sharing

Share assets and folders with other workspaces, such as the companies in a group or your agency. They can use them, only the owner can edit them, and sharing is a permission assigned by role.

Groups with several companies

The group keeps its assets in one workspace and shares them read-only with each company.

Frequently asked questions

The linkable.id Brand Vault takes 12 asset types: images, SVG icons, fonts, audio, files, colors, links, emails, phone numbers, Markdown text, design tokens and code snippets. Files upload in bulk with their type detected automatically, and values can be imported from a CSV.

It changes on every widget, page and theme that uses the asset, because they point to the asset rather than a copy. In linkable.id an asset in use also can't be deleted, so nobody breaks a page by removing a file.

It is a branded page with your logo, colors, typography, imagery, guidelines and downloads, built in 3 steps from your linkable.id Brand Vault. Because its sections point to the assets, the kit keeps itself up to date. It can be public or private behind a visitor pass, and font downloads are off by default for licensing reasons.

No. linkable.id imports the family from Google Fonts into your Brand Vault and serves the files from your own pages, so visitors' browsers never contact Google. Re-importing skips files that are already in the vault.

Claude can read assets, create and edit values such as colors, copy, links and tokens, and organize folders, but it can't upload files or delete anything in linkable.id. A value change goes live immediately on every widget that uses it, and Claude reports how many places are affected. For strict control, give the people who use Claude a role without permission to edit the Brand Vault.
